SCOTT Sports has been in the outdoor sporting world since 1958 and entered the cycling arena in 1986, with the creation of their first mountain bike.
With expertise from both skiing and motocross, SCOTT’s passion and dedication to fulfil its mantra INNOVATION,TECHNOLOGY, DESIGN continued, with the revolutionary Aero Bar, taking Greg Lemond to Tour De France victory in 1989.
Mountain bikes have continued to set SCOTT apart from the competition, with the development of full suspension bikes and the introduction of carbon to the market. Carbon forms part of SCOTT’s heritage, with a host of Carbon Design Experts and a dedicated carbon factory to protect the unique, high quality building process that goes towards creating world-class bikes, encompassing road, TT and mountain.
Both in the UK and globally, SCOTT have cycling as part of their lifestyle, with lunchtime rides a regular part of working life and a sporting commonality between employees, whether they’re a cyclist, runner, skier or motocross rider.
SCOTT are also proud to support some of the world’s best athletes; Swisspower and SCOTT 11 represent the SCOTT spirit on mountain biking, as well as it shining through nationally with UK riders that include Nick Craig, Stuart Wilcox, Katy and Greg Simcock and last year’s female category winners, the SCOTT UK Contessa Team.
